She chose Corellon as a deity (convenient that, as the &quot;demihuman&quot; deities are the only ones in the book that I actually use in my game.) She zeroed in on good and protection as domains. Here's where the min-maxing came in. I mentioned that War might be a good choice for her. I explained that it would give the character the ability to use a better weapon. She asked what types of weapons she could use, and I quickly summed up the simple weapons, but mentioned that full elves get longsword proficiency.She latched on to that immediately, and decided she wanted to change the character to a full elf and stay with the domains she already had decided that she liked.
