Actually, it's not hard to see the difference at all. It's typical for semantics debates over there about how to parse a rule in the PHB to drag on for literally hundreds of posts. And they establish absolutely nothing. I have no desire to see that happen here. Has it happened here? If so, I missed it. In any case, it doesn't happen often, and this forum is better off for it. Brace yourselves. And the rules lawyering/munchkinism is amazing. Oh, you've figured out a way to cast Shillelagh on two quarterstaves and get two attacks with both of them one handed? And get a bonus attack with your STR damage with both of them too? That's nice. :hmm: (Don't use the word "overpowered" with this crowd. Just don't.) I see plenty of "is this legal" threads at EN World, but they tend to be reasonable. Then there's that one guy who has a meltdown whenever someone uses the word "stacking." I mean don't even, because he'll school you: there's no such thing as stacking in 5E! And then he'll post a long-winded definition of stacking that's not even correct, with examples of stacking/non-stacking modifiers, some of which conflict with the incorrect definition he just gave you. It's hilarious the first umpteen times.... And the mods over there are quite active: a number of threads have posts removed due to violation of forum policies. Unfortunately, they have some members who fall into the 'uncivil' category. My prediction is that they won't last long if they come around here. OK, that's only four reasons. I got stuff to do! There are, however, a lot of really good posters over there, so I'll echo the welcome for the WOTC forum's civil and reasonable members.
