Upper planar creatures

BOZ

Creature Cataloguer
I'm looking to put a list together of all upper planar creatures from throughout D&D's history which are yet to be converted to 3E. i had a list going on my computer at work, but i forgot to bring it with me. ;) i know there are some eladrins, and an archon type or two... and then you've got the balaenea, mortai, noctral, etc...

Balaenas are in the Planar Handbook, as "elsewhales."

The only eladrin types so far unconverted are the shiere and noviere.

There are no unconverted archons or guardinals.

The noctral is very similar to the owl archon in the BoED. Not exactly the same, but close enough that they should at least be presented as related creatures.

Light aasimon and agathinons remain of the aasimon types.

Others still absent include the baku (although the shirokinukatsukami from OA is based on the same mythological creature), grim (1e MM2), dragon horse (1e MM2), buraq (Planes of Conflict, Al-Qadim MC), animal lord (PSMC1), animal warden (Planes of Conflict), per (PSMC1), zoveri (Planes of Law), busen (Planes of Law), t'uen-rin (PSMC2), foo creatures (PSMC1, although OA suggested they be treated as celestial dire lions or the like), kholiathra (MCA2), opinicus (MCA1), shard (Planes of Chaos, Tales From the Infinite Staircase), aeserpent (PSMC2), you mentioned the mortai (PSMCII), air maiden (1e Deities & Demigods), wraithworm (PSMC2), asrai (Planes of Chaos), incarnates (PSMC1, Dragon #193), forest wisps (Doors to the Unknown), mercurials (Doors to the Unknown), Arcadian pony (In the Cage: A Guide to Sigil), ethyks, and I'll have to look up some other more obscure things from Dragon Magazine.

forchoreai (Dragon #101) - this critter might be the same thing as the gaspar in the Planar Handbook, more or less.

"Destriers of the Planes" - Dragon #243
Telperan, glissan, baltir - Dragon #86

Seraphim, cherubim, dominations, thrones - Dragon #35

Angel of wrath, angel of healing, archangel of mercy, seraphim - Dragon #17

OD&D stuff of dubious relevance:

Blue imp - The Principalities of Glantri, page 94
Archon - D&D Master Set. They're almost completely different from AD&D/3e archons, but still celestial creatures.
Flicker - D&D Immortal Set
Jumper - D&D Immortal Set
Notion - D&D Immortal Set
Repeater - D&D Immortal Set
Soo - D&D Immortal Set
Tonal - D&D Immortal Set

Here's an obscure one I had forgotten about, the monitor from MC9 (Spelljammer Appendix).

"Monitors manifest in two different ways. In a crystal sphere or on the Outer Planes, they appear as gold-skinned, winged centaurs. Their eyes and hair blaze as if made of red flames. In the phlogistion, monitors appear as silver-skinned pegasi, with icy blue eyes and manes."

There are a few other, pretty boring, celestial creatures in In the Cage: A Guide to Sigil. The sand cow is a cross between a camel and a bull native to Arcadia (page 112). They're pure white, and as they walk they whistle. The spittle boar is an amiable piglike creature from the Beastlands. The main thing that makes a spittle boar stand out is its constant flow of disgusting drool (also page 112). Not the things angels are made of.
