Allright guys, here's the deal : this is the first time I'm mastering a game here on the boards, so be genle :D . My plans are, for the moment, that you do your homework on the internet. If a computer-noob like me can find stuff about the ton-ton macouts, certain right-wing groups, the CIA and colombian drug-cartels, so should you. However, when you want to know if something you find is "true" in my game, you'll have to make a skillcheck for me to say yes or no. It MIGHT be true, but you just can't be sure. This represents your characters experience in research, knowledge, .... I'll limit the checks based on your characters actions : if they spend the day doing nothing much I might only allow one skillcheck, if they actively research on the net, check with contacts, do some legwork, I'll allow more. How does that sound? Also, use either this thread or the in-character thread, as appropriate, to coordinate or speculate on the things you research, on your suspicions, or use another thread I cant read. Third, and last : I need feedback. In tabletop gaming I have a "combat" session about once every three nights, more if my players seem to get bored. I have a very open-ended GM style in tabletop, I use my players to drag the story along, if they're passive nothing much happens. Let me know if there's something lacking in my game, if you want to change the pace, or even if you wanna talk about the weather. Cheers.
