Jaken, now nineteen has grown into a fine young man and is his father’s pride and joy. He has taken to studying the blade instead of magic and has become a skilled swordsman, enjoying the tutelage of his father at first and then a local paladin of Tyr that makes his home in Longsaddle. Six and a half feet tall and muscled like a young bull Jaken’s ogre heritage has given him great strength and vitality, while his elven heritage has chiseled his features and lent him an alluring elegance the young women of Longsaddle find hard to resist. Like his father Jaken is devoutly faithful to Tyr and spends long hours at the temple gaining instruction on the god’s dogma and holy rites. The path of the holy warrior seems a natural progression for Jaken and he has spoken with Urg on numerous occasions regarding his interest in combating evil in the name of Tyr. Urg is proud of his son’s devotion but knows that Jaken cannot follow the path of his soul in Longsaddle and so has discreetly contacted the great temple of Tyr in Waterdeep and secured a place for the young man to be trained as a Paladin. </p><p></p><p>Kitkazza has continued to study magic with her husband and the graceful half-elf is no longer troubled by the chaos of her past. There are no secrets between her and Urg now and the couple shares a rare bond of utmost trust and devotion. Kitkazza has only one worry in her now peaceful life; she has watched Urg slowly deteriorate as age strengthens its grip on him. She knows that her elven heritage will allow her to outlive her aging husband and she tries not to think of the days that lay ahead where the gentle half-ogre will not be by her side.</p><p></p><p>Urg continues to run his magic shop but only half-heartedly. The shop is now rarely open and only caters to a few longtime customers and friends. Urg spends the majority of his day researching magical items with Kitkazza or discussing religion and philosophy with his son. Urg is finally at peace and the threats of his and his wife’s past have faded like phantoms in the fog. There is only the joy his family and friends bring him and the reward of his study of magic.</p><p></p><p>Urg is old now and his vitality and strength have faded with his advanced age. He relies on various extended spells cast each morning to heighten his agility and vitality, for without them the aching of old wounds and arthritic joints would leave him practically immobile. Urg’s face is deeply lined with the tracks of wisdom and experience and his long hair is as white as newly fallen snow. Urg has regained vision in both eyes after a trip to Waterdeep allowed him to purchase a regeneration spell from a powerful cleric of Tyr. Urg’s mind has not suffered from his aging and his brilliance and natural aptitude with magic have grown with each passing year. Life is good for Urg and he looks forward to living out the rest of his days surrounded by family and friends.</p></blockquote><p></p>
