Like if you have another sorcerer in the party, I wouldn't steal their cool ability. Secondly, I don't know that it really requires thinking about rarity if the ability isn't able to be duplicated.  To steal from Marvel, it would only be required to worry about 'rarity' on Captain America's abilities if they were able to be duplicated as they are.  There are plenty of knock-off versions of Cap out there, for sure, but it's not a process that can be duplicated in the same way that, for example, Wolverine's can.YMMV</blockquote>
