Using IP in an online game

What are the general rules and norms involved in posting bits of copyrighted material for player use a PbP game played at EN World or another site.

In particular, I'll be running a campaign (As of now there are still spots open!! see the sig) set in Greyhawk, and I may need to post maps and other setting material for the players to see. What would be an acceptable way to do this?

I reckon that you can post what you like to your non-commercial website as non commercial fair use in USA copyright law. If you get a complaint about a specific work you can always take it down if you like.

edit: I'm assuming the site is for the use of you and your players only, and is not advertised to others.

I suggest paying for a site (http://www.lenzmedia.com) that will alllow you to password protect sections that you can have a players only section and password protect it.
