If that were done, this ability might be limited to Sorcerers.Even if the crossbow were superior to spellcasting, it would be a little disappointing - I'm more interested in playing a spellcaster than a marksman. And part of the appeal of playing a spellcaster (at least to me) is that the spells can do more than inflict damage - if all I wanted was the ability to keep throwing damaging magic, a level of Warlock would handle things.</blockquote>
