Message: <blockquote data-quote="Stormborn" data-source="post: 3679859" data-attributes="member: 14041">The Valley of Obelisks is the setting for Shattergates of Slaughterguard and not a bad start at a minicampaign setting.  For those of you who have played or, more importantly ran, Slaughterguard what have you done with the Valley?  What changes have you made to the setting?  Have you incorporated it into a larger camapaign setting and if so how and which one?So far the main change to the setting we have made is have the Vaathwood be home to Forest Lord Elves (Dragon Magic) and a matriarcial mageocracy.  The PCs have just found a one-way portal to Hell and are off for some planescape adventures but the DM and I have begun discussing expanding on the Valley, not only for the PCs eventual return but as a recurring setting element when I take over and start out next campaign.</blockquote>
