If you are familiar with Traveller, why don't you just use Traveller?

Because as I said in the starter post, I am looking for a scifi fantasy mix. Sure, I can modify Traveller, but I first wanted to see if Starfinder could work out of the box.

I think starfinder can do what you want if you take care of design your encounters and scenarios to meet your expectations

Starfinder can do hard sci fi, but unfortunately it's not built to that out of the box. It feels like D&D with rayguns.

Despite Starfinder not being exactly what I seek I bought it anyway because of the general Sci Fantasy setting. Also, playing something where you do not need to think 3 steps ahead and tiptoe around combat is relaxing.
