Message: <blockquote data-quote="malladin" data-source="post: 2076514" data-attributes="member: 8230">Just thought I should mention Etherscope in amongst this thread, our game of victorian adventure mixed with cyberpunk.  You can find out a good deal about the game on <a href="http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=43034" target="_blank">this</a> thread.   As a quick overview, Etherscope is set in an alternate 1984 where the discovery of Etherspace, a parallel dimension that allows for typical cyberpunk netrunning, in teh late 19th century has propelled thechnology forward into a new era, whilst retaining the victorian attitudes.   Etherscope rules would also be easily adapted to those people who want to play specific victorian or cyberpunk games (but we think our world will just make you want to play there!).  We've intentionally written in the ability to play games on a theme of victorian adventure as well as those on a more traditional cyberpunk theme.  Anyone who likes Space 1889 should find Etherscope fits the bill nicely, whilst adding many new ideas and themes to play with. The game itself might be delivered as OGL or D20 Modern, or even as basic D20 (one of the things we're discussing with the publisher). Whatever happens it will likely be similar D20 modern, but using its own new basic classes (so similar to Adventure if its basic D20). We're currently in talks with a print publisher to bring this to your shops, rather than just to RPGNow.  So watch out for more information soon - I'll make sure I post here as well as our own site. Cheerio, Ben</blockquote>
