Indeed, while a twodimensional minion is forgivable — even desirable in some rare instances — a two-dimensional villainous mastermind leads to a dull and predictable session, encounter, and adventure.</p><p></p><p>Ultimately, while a minion might propel the plot of the story, the villainous mastermind is the driving force behind an entire threat to the heroes. Their influence determines the threat’s motives, techniques, and methods, and dictates these things to their subordinates.
