The d20 Magazine Rack, is currently in need of three additional staff reviewers and one executive assistant volunteer to help with coding articles properly for release onto the website. Persons interested in these positions should contact Executive Chairman, Steve Creech at ghost[dot]wind[at]verizon[dot]net with "Staff Reviewer" or "Executive Assistant" in the subject header if you meet the following qualifications: Staff Reviewer 1. Must be willing to review both print and pdf (electronic) products in both d20 and non-d20 game systems as well as an occasional novel. 2. Must be committed to turning in timely reviews that are no later than one week after you receive the product for review (deadline extensions up to three weeks will be granted when receiving multiple products at the same time). 3. Must be critical, objective and capable of writing according to the guidelines established for this site, which include following the writing and coding formats. 4. Must have a love for the hobby and be willing to spend some of your free time reading novels and gaming products and writing reviews (which does generally take several hours to do both for one product) for them. Staff reviewers will generally receive free products for review dependent upon the quality and timeliness of their reviews. If you feel that you would like an opportunity to join the staff and write reviews in exchange for free product, provided you understand and are willing to abide by the above qualifications, contact Steve at the above email and he will tell you what to do next. Executive Assistant 1. Knowledge of HTML that includes simple functions like bold, italics, etc. along with more complex coding such as tables and graphics. Knowledge of php and the workings of Postnuke is a plus but not required. 2. Duties will include coding submitted articles with HTML when necessary for inclusion on the website (usually just tables and graphics). 3. Will require an average of 1-2 hours per week at the most (sometimes less), depending on the task assigned. The executive assistant volunteer will assist the Chairman (Steve Creech) in posting new content to the website on a timely basis. This individual will also receive free product on occasion as a 'thank you' for the work done. If you meet these qualifications and would like to volunteer to assist one of the top review and resource sites on the Internet, contact Steve at the above email.
