Other party members may donate expensive components or 2. He could use experience instead of components, though this rule is VERY optional.

P Pax Banned Banned May 14, 2004 #6 Well, at epic levels at least, there's always the feat ignore material components. Pre-epic, the Blood Magus prestige class (Tome & Blood)allows you to take HP of damage in place of material components - even costly ones.
