Hello and thanks for your comment. I'm glad that you found the thread helpful. To answer your question: You require a drop-in macro (function) that allow you to open and close doors (with animation!) while also automatically changing the line-of-sight blocking... line :) This would be Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks that are in fact a big collection of macros, but I just used the door functions. It might seem daunting to use and figure out, but it's really not that hard. Just follow the installation instructions and you'll be fine. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or over at the RPTools forums. http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=23057 Now for another thing. One issue with f2f sessions is that the stat sheet that appears when you move your mouse over a character token to display HP etc. can be hard to read from the typical sofa-TV distance. As GM, you have your laptop in front of you so it's no problem, but your players, especially those with poor eyesight, probably won't be able to read the small text, and thus they have to keep asking you how much HP their chracter has left and what AC the enemy has. no biggie, but why not make it more user-friendly? I can't code a new statsheet myself (though it would be possible), so I resorted to the quick 'n' dirty solution: A screen zoom program. I just used a program called Zoom+ to enlarge the area where the relevant stats appear (Defenses and HP) :) Zoom+ has the option to stay on top of all other programs. Very handy, I recommend it. Note that your portrait images (the images that appear when you move your mouse cursor over a token, NOT the token image itself!) have to all have the same width or you'll end up having to reset the zoom area all the time. This is becasue the stat sheet is always docked right next to the portrait. [sblock=Zoom][/sblock] Another thing: Since my first session I have modified my window configuration a little bit; note that this is mostly influenced by the framework and macros you use, in my case Rumble's Slim framework, Wolph's magic bag of tricks and a Inventory and Shop manager from the RPTools forums. Here you can see how my GM view looks like, this is the default map with lib tokens for the FW and BoT, as well as a copy of every monster thas has appeared in the campaign so far. In my General frame in the bottom right corner I copied the Macro buttons I need regularly into. And while we're talking about monsters, here's another tiny tip most of you will probalb know anyway: If you need to scale an encounter up or down depending on your party size, use the WotC Adventure Tools to quickly level a monster up or down, it's often better to retain the number of monsters while making them weaker instead of having fewer monsters of the same power level. Tip (Only for the Slim framework]: Instead of fumbling around with the condition monitor, just give eacch character his or her class feat (fighter mark, quarry etc) and then you can just click the newly created macro button from the character's selection frame, select the target for the mark, and have it apply the condition automatically. [sblock=Overview][/sblock] Edit: Because I have gotten many messages about it, YES, that really was Alanis Morisette playing on Winamp. Please don't tell anyone.
