Mmh, one of my players would like to play that kind of character. Because of immunities. He is my whiner player. And he doesn't like do anything hard stuff in games, so I don't think such lame never take risks player ever get change to become quasi-deity. On the otherhand, bob (with name preferable changed) would make intersting character into party of other interesting beings. Epic 1st level party would be great for this campaing I have visualized since someone in here pointed out interesting way to start a campaing "week ago world was created, and now you were created". So, quasi-deity would fit into party with paragon critters and stranger things, just wondering together about life, universe and everything. And there would probably be things from beoynd threatening the newly-born cosmos, or maybe being of univeral balance, who think life born into that particular corner of the cosmos is dangerous corruption and perversion to rest of existance. Or something. As player, I think quasi-deity is boring to play. Too much immunities. Wrong kind of immunities IMO. Not my kinda character. If given such character to play, dunno, depends really on campaing. I would much prefer character woudn't know the reason for his/her powers, and woudn't even be aware of most of them. It's unlikely that character would have gone through all that stuff, to know he/she is immune to it, being first level. I'd prefer I as player woudn't actully know character I just made is actually a quasi-deity. Hey, wait a minute I did play through short campaing like that. It was great fun too.
