OOC: Thanks Rae for stepping in. Sorry guys, I had a problem with my internet - I could get on hotmail and all that jazz, but this site just took FOREVER to load. I think it probably has something to do with Gary's Death, flooding the server or something. Or, possibly, my internet connection sucks. In any case, the internet guys fixed it all for me. Aiken downs his invisibility potion and hides in the corner, just in time to see three fully-scarved 'lilies come around the corner. One of them, a youngish woman carrying an axe that is more suited for splitting wood than flesh, starts pressing around the walls, as if she were searching for a brick. "where in the hell...?" she mutters underneath her breath. The second fiddles with some keys and opens the other locked door, and looks inside. " The kid's gone!" "he's in the other room, idiot!" the woman hisses. The third man, wearing a ridiculously large cap, comes down last. He pushes the woman aside, and pokes at a brick. Suddenly, the wall slides to the left, revealing a dark passageway. "Iniata Sollaen!" the man hisses, and his hat begins to radiate light. "Hurry up and grab the kid! I'll meet you at the docks with the others." He then dashes down into the tunnel, the spectral light fading off into the distance. "Aikenn.... sniff.... aiken?" Hukk pleads. "Who the hell is Aiken?" the man curses, as he fiddles with the door. It slides open. "You're not Aiken!" Hukk says in shock, as the man bursts inside. "Shut up, kid! We have to go!" Upstairs, Aiken can hear the sound of dozens of scuffling feet. IT seems someone has broken in. *** Outside, the watch begins to burst inside the building, from many points of contact. The group is standing outside in the open, more than a little confused as anarchy takes full swing. A sniper pops out of a window up above, and starts pulling off rapid shots with his shortbow - but the watchmen are too focused on breaching the building to notice. There is the sound of steel on steel coming from just beyond the front door, and cries of "Halt! In the name of the law!" abound. A team of two young woman and a man, all garbed in the uniforms of temple priests (the women to Halina, the male to Hyrag) start making their way up the street, seemingly to set up an aid station. However, they are targeted by the sniper, and one of the women looks down at the ground to see an arrow sticking out of her boot. She screams shrilly, before limping off to cover. The other two priests run madly in opposite directions, the male screaming "snniiiiiiiIIIiiiiiper!" At the same moment, one guardsman woozily stumbles out the front door, clutching at his head - his hand covered in blood. I take it the plan is to follow inside?
