Message: <blockquote data-quote="Leowen" data-source="post: 6480884" data-attributes="member: 6787933">Ive gotten quite a bit of a response from that post- Id like to A.) thank everyone who actually took the time to read it (Oi did it get long), for reading it, and B.) ignoring my grammatical errors haha.  I could go much more in depth on nearly all aspects/points I brought up (and am glad to do so for anyone if questioned/asked, and again, im always glad to provide my sources to support my assertions for those whod like to see where/why Im making the claims that I am), but it was already quite a long post so I left out a lot of bits.   Im here because im a bit of DnD nut, and typically browse the 5e sections looking for ideas for my own games- But crossed this thread and thought it might be fun to chime in.  Swords are a huge passion of mine (In case it wasnt obvious lol), and I come across notions like the one(s) presented here quite often.  I know I used to think the same thing.  And while my digging about has changed my understanding of the weapons and how good they actually were/werent, I still love them a lot and find them to be amazing weapons.  The passion put into forging these weapons can be utterly awe inspiring.  And come on, media is damn good at making these things look utterly bad ass.</blockquote>
