PC, Where is the Eric Noah quote from?

Erich Noah, would be my guess.

[edit: "Erich?" How terribly Freudian of me. That'll teach me to spend all my time on Margo Schreck's website.]

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, you're a mile away from him, and you've got his shoes.

I always loved this quote. It's right up there with "Why do you drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?"

The quote PC mentioned is in Tsunami's sig, IIRC.

Edit: What I meant was the text of Piratecat's post is a quote from Tsunami's sig.

First time I saw it was about four years ago when I put it on a T-shirt and sold it for a high school project. I thought it was an original at the time. :)

Later, I saw it in the Pickles comic strip...then on these boards...

But then again, I have a tendancy for thinking of cool ideas after somebody else already did. I don't think anybody in my hometown had heard it before my shirts, though...

Darklance, I think PC heard me say something to that effect at the last Chicago Game Day. I can't actually recall what the context was, something about GenCon I'm sure :)

We were having lunch at the Chicago game day and I told Eric to take off his name tag. "Don't advertise!" I told him jokingly. "They'll know we're gamers!" And he answered with my new sig quote.
