Wall of force and Mord's sword

i know that a wall of force blocks line of effect, but what about controlling mords sword, flaming sphere or a summoning beyond

Not really adressed in the rules. Personally I would say that you need line of effect. Would you let the PC direct the sword or sphere from behind an adamantine wall? From another plane?

You can't summon a being from behind a Wall of Force. To cast spells with a range other than unlimited you always need line of effect.
