I'm not clear on this share spells thing. If I use a wand of cure light wounds on myself and my faithful (injured) wolf companion is right next to me, does the wolf get healed as well?

You can only share spells that you have cast.

Wands are spell trigger items, so it wouldn't work. A scroll is spell completion, however, so I'm fairly confident that that would work.
