In addition, the Bardic feats do not raise spell level, but instead require a perform check.   Furthermore, the Alt. Bard spells do not really have spell levels (it functions closer to spellpoints instead), so making a house rule that raises spell level is complicated.I have taken a couple of stabs at creating a house rule, but none of them are elegant or fully balanced yet.  So before I continue to bash my head against this wall, I was wondering if anyone out there already has a house-rule for using Bardic feats during item creation that works well for them?</blockquote>
