I have run most of it in 4e and working on converting over the last couple encounters. And honestly, converting has been relatively simple. Many of the encounters are already set up in the 4e paradigm. As to selling you on WoBS...  Well, my campaign can only meet once a month and I don't have time to explore the entirety of the setting....but it is really a full blown setting. If I had the time I would run most of the 'side trek' hooks that are built into the game.  As to campaign arcs, the entire story it linked together. The characters go through a number of areas and meet a number of groups/characters/beings. In the final module there is a huge clash of arms where many of these groups/characters/beings are involved... and the sides chosen are partially driven by the PC's interactions in earlier adventures!  My only downside to the campaign is that I don't have enough time to truely enjoy it!</blockquote>
