Hey all, I have just learned from my DM that we are playing a different type of D&D game tonight. We play by the 3.5 ED rules, however with a "Risq" type game twist. We are launching a full scale attack (approx 34k troops on our side) and each of the groups will be split in sets of 500-1000 people. we will be rolling dice A LA Risq when attacking or defending. Now the tricky part is, each of us players (spellcasters/fighters/rogues/etc...) will be attached to a cell. I'm a 17th Level Cleric for example, and spells that I memorize will aid in giving us plusses to when we roll the dice. Example, if i make a hole with a spell, or a bridge or whatever and it allows the troops easier access to enimy troops on the walls, we get a +something to our die rolls. If we find a way to limit the archers shooting capacity for example, another + die. The question is simple, for clerics of my level, what are some good aiding or defending or damaging spells that I coudl prepare to aid our troops. Lets say I did a flame strike for example, it wouldn't be that good cause it would only affect a few people and would not make a difference really. If i were to cast a Hellish horde or even better Cold Snap (both from spell compendium) now that affects more people. Any suggestions? PH, SComp and other "hardcover" faerun books allowed. This game is tonight so any help would be appreciated. thanks, Al
