Who cares about spell failure... Just to jump in, I have been playing a warforged diviner in full plate from level 1 to 11. I only have a few levels in wizard but so long as you just take the many Verbal only spells you can do fine. Mixed with a Stilling lesser metamagic rod I have gone several gaming sesions in a row without ever loosing a spell to spell failure even with 75% chance (mithral tower shield also). And the ability to cast repair magics even with the 35% from the armor has come in very handy. (And its fun to brag that I learned magic dispite being always traped in a tin can.) And once get to high levels Spellsword is always a valid option. Oh, and I did take draconic as a 1st level bonus language because wizard adds it to the list.
