I've posted this to other forums, but though I'd also better put my update to this post here too. Spoilers. I ran this tonight for my regular group. PC's: Rat Catcher, Bounty Hunter, Zealot, Init of Sigmar, Agitator Party negotiated a good job on the hiring (agitator) and I worked it in with the False Pretenses scenario NPC's from the Lantern Tavern (Dankmar, Dania, etc.) and then brought in Captain Spelman himself to negotiate. Party did zero recon or asking about the wolfship. They rowed out and went in the blast-spot in the back. To get in, they lasoo'ed what they thought was a solid object above and pulled the body out of the boat, sinking their dinghy..so they got in anyways. They kind of sloppily cleared level by level so I had the ship "deforming" around them and making pools of nurgling slime (two characters got infected, one of them twice). I had them fight the fleshhound and recover the box on the ship rather than chase it into the town, but one of my players said he would have preferred doing some roleplaying tracking it down into the town. Finally, they jumped ship on the derelict marines rowboat while the bounty hunter blew up the ship (and unfortunately himself with the ship..now that player's playing a Bright Wizard They reached land, but two characters were still infected. The Agitator character managed to keep the two characters from being burned at the stake (instead with a mock exorcism while negotiating with Spelman about why they blew up the very expensive ship). They handed the black box to the captain, but the rat catcher managed to sneak in to the captains belongings and get the actual plans..noting that the captain had switched them out with "fake" plans that he knew he'd have to give to the magisters. There, the session ended and next time we'll have to go over the "debriefing by Admiral Koenig and the magisters" as well as deal with the captain finding out that the plans are missing.. I added 5 nurglings to the fleshhound encounter (otherwise RAPID SHOT and CHINK IN THE ARMOR took him down in less than one round..yea..rapid shot is STILL broken). jh
