Message: <blockquote data-quote="Particle_Man" data-source="post: 3119475" data-attributes="member: 892">Looking at Complete Mage, I like the idea of a "good" Warlock prestige class.  But it seems that they are going to suck against the demons they are meant to be good at blasting.  Many outsiders have SR, and there is no mention of Warlock invocation levels stacking with Enlightened Spirit levels, so "Caster Level" is going to be very low.I could may be see a Warlock 11/Enlightened Spirit X, to get Vitriolic Blast.  But that is a long time to wait to get into a prestige class, and there is still the problem that then you can't use the specific essence that does more damage to evil outsiders at the same time as Vitriolic blast.Or one could get lots of wands of Assay Resistance (a Spell from Complete Arcane, I think) but then that would blow away my Vow of Poverty Warlock idea.There are feats to increase SR penetration, but the Warlock is kinda feat-starved as it is.Any thoughts on this?</blockquote>
