Warlock + Project Image = blasty fun?

Hello, I've been trying to think of new ways to leverage combat advantage for my warlock, and it occurred to me that Project Image might be a viable option. After running an aboleth NPC during the summer I realized that it was capable of using its spell-like abilities via the image it projects, so I thought, why not a warlock?

I'm not 100% certain this works according to RAW, but I'm reasonably confident it would be a legal application of the Project Image spell. Any thoughts?

Well, like any aspect of the Warlock other than "fight many combats in a day," wizards and sorcerers are better at doing this than a Warlock ever can hope to be. But yeah, if you want to use it to remotely bomb people with eldritch blasts, go for it.
