Level Up (A5E) Warlock spells?

So, it shows warlocks use spell points instead of slots. But also shows the slot level in the table? Do warlocks still function like 5e warlocks? Are their spell levels are always at their highest level? Or can they cast spells of any level up to 5th?

Additionally the wording on warlock invocations note being able to cast higher level spells, but don't state without spell points but there is no cost for higher then 5th level spells.

Warlock spellcasting is spell point casting in Level Up. Instead of slots, you have spell points. To cast a spell, you spend spell points for that spell's level or higher. Your level cap is the same as classic 5e warlocks.

As far as the higher-level spells - by which I assume you meant the Arcanum invocations which replace the Mystic Arcanum feature, those work identically to Mystic Arcanum - you get a spell of the appropriate spell level which you can cast once in between long rests - except that the ability is an optional invocation instead of part of the base class progression.

I thought so, I just wanted to be sure I was interpreting it correctly
