Warlocks, short on powers

The selection of a pact for warlocks, greatly reduces the choices for spells/powers. Essentially if you meet one Fey pact warlock, you will know what all of them can do.

Does anyone know if they plan on expanding the list via the compendium?

Actually, there's nothing saying a Fey Pact warlock can't choose powers tied to other pacts. Many of the Star Pact powers rely on Charisma instead of Constitution, and nothing's stopping a warlock from having high scores in both Con and Cha (especially if they're a half-elf), thus enabling them to cherry pick from the various pact-powers. So barring the initial at-wills, warlocks can have just as much variety with their choice of powers as any other class.

Really? From my limited experience, the (infernal) warlock in my group puts the utilities from the fey pact to good use, as well as some of the Con-dependant star pact powers.

Cheers, LT.

Indeed, PHB, pg 131, first paragraph under Warlock Powers.

"Each power is associated with one of the three eldritch pacts, but you aren't limited to choosing powers associated with your pact."

Warlocks are like the other pick-one-main-stat classes: they get good use out of half their class powers, and most of their utility powers.

Similar classes are the Cleric and Paladin.
