I can never find it to rent and I missed it when it actualy aired  IT and the Stand are two of my favorite King novels...and I dont think they rambled on after the "end"...especialy not the Stand. Stephen King isnt like other horror writers...or perhaps it'd be better to say he's almost the apotheosis of the "real" horror writer. Most of his books...especialy the biggies like IT and the Stand have a lot of things to say. their not just about killing the monster.  If you guys havent read it I would strongly recomend Danse Macabre the book he wrote about the horror genre from like 1950-80. I just finished it today for the 3rd time. Lots of nifty insights into horror stories...and into King himself</blockquote>
