To anyone looking to by the "Forgotten Heroes: Paladin" PDF sourcebook by Malladin's Gate Press ... WARNING!
There is an issue with Printhing this PDF file. For some this may not be an issue, but most of us do not like to or cannot sit and read a 60+ page file on the computer. It is too much of a strain on the eyes, and it is also limiting in the the source cannot be used unless a PC with the PDF File is handy (not always the case with gaming).
Basically the entire file is created with a font called 'Ausburger Initials,' a microsoft font installed in some of the less used products.
This is the comment received by Ben Redmond @ Malladin's Gate Press.
"Unfortunately it appears to be a fault with the pdf distiller software. I have contacted the software provider and hope to get the issue resolved, but have no idea as to how long this may take, if indeed it will ever be resolved. In the meantime you have two choices: either don't bother to print or get your hands on a copy of one of the products that includes this font ."
For me, I do have access to the font and could print it on my little Epson Ink jet and go through an ink cartridge doing it, but I cannot unfortunately take it anywhere like Kinko's to get good quality double sided prints done.
Just fair warning for any looking at this products as a possible print sourcebook for their libraries.
On a positive note, I give the book a 4 out 5 stars for quality and excellence of writing.
