This Warpath is not a video game, it is a set of rules for running large scale combats using the d20 mechanics.
Essentially you represent your armies using cards on a battlemat where each square represents 10 ft. The armies are given statistics useable with the d20 to hit roll. Damage is done a bit different and there are rules for various combat maneuvers adn spells in large scale combats. The idea is twofold. Firstly you can now have your PCs lead an army into battle in a d20 RPG game and have rules for the DM to adjucate what happens. Secondly, it can be used as a sort of standalone wargame.
I preordered it when it was first announced and thought it was severely delayed am happy with the purchase now that I have it in hand.
