Even though I've seen just about every episode of the original, SVU and Criminal Intent, I still watch them when they are on. Trial by Jury never re-airs at least not that I've seen, nor does L&O: LA. Apparently there is a L&O: Toronto but I've never seen it. If I'm not mistaken, I think there is even a British adaptation, but I've only caught it once. I couldn't get into the revival of the original or Organized Crime; it's almost like they should've left well enough alone. I remember binge watching reruns in the 90s when I was hungover. Hard to believe that was 30 years ago and how much things have changed IRL, but yet in some ways are still the same. I caught a few episodes of season one a few weeks back and it pretty interesting to see how the show was still finding its legs, how some actors that were in one episode ended up playing other characters as series regulars later in the run. Another thing is seeing the guest stars that were relatively unknown when they were on the show who are now major stars; there's quite a few. I always feel kind of old when I see an episode and remember the actual real-world event that the plot was based on and then some random thought or memory pops into my head from that time.  And it has one of the best opening theme songs ever, and Briscoe has the best one liners.</blockquote>
