Waterworld

Im just wondering. After seeing the movie for the umpteenth time the other day, along w/ reading Tangled Webs by Elaine Cunningham, which has a LOT of underwater/sea specific stuff, im just wondering. is there a waterworld campaign setting someone has that i could use? And im trying to find stats for underwater races....sea elves, etc. Can anyone help me?

There are two that I am aware of.

Seas of Blood (they had several follow-ups to further explore this with types of races and boats and water cultures, I believe)

Seafarer's Handbook (from the same people that did Traps and Treachery, I think).

I can not recall the names of the publishers right now (and not entirely certain I am remembering the correct titles)

Both had rules for sea combat and underwater stuff as well as (I believe) info for having a water-world-type compaign.

A nice trick for monsters is to add an aquatic template on to basic monsters. change thier appearance and re name them. Your players will not know and will be surprised by the wierd stuff your throwing at them. Read my Avonshar Storyhour for some ideas.
Oh and don't forget the atmosphere. it's dark and cold down there.

Heh. I got Seafarer's Handbook today. Looks good, from what i saw. I wonder. Do Everburning Torches work underwater? lol. what do they use for light down there?

Heh. Yea. I was hoping maybe for more water races, but i might add a few.
