Yeah, sorry to hear about your grandfather, Ambrus. My grandfather was a delight to be around too, but he lived in another country. When he died (a couple years ago), it was actually held secret. My uncle (who was the one checking up on him) didn't bother to tell anyone for something like a year.

Man, was I p/o'd.

Afterwards, though, I wrote an Ode to him. I'll treasure that thing.

That's a really cool way to remember someone close. Something to remember them by and treasure forever.

I just lost my 95 year old maternal grandfather in early January. My favorite memory of him is watching Sesame Street with him when I was home from school sick as a child. He laughed himself silly watching big-bird watch a washing machine work. Honestly, watching my grandfather laugh was more entertaining than anything on TV, even back then. I miss joking around with him.

I'm really sorry to hear this.

On a completely unrelated note, is the campaign with the artifact and the gnomes still going smoothly?
