After testing DCCRPG and missing out on the We Be goblins fun, I would like to hear stories and reviews of the Free RPG Day Module, I found it on free PDF off of Paizo but unfortunately finding a group to play it with is impossible, everyone else already played it.
The adventure is almost as much fun to GM as it is to play. I played with a group at my FLGS with three experienced players, one new to Pathfinder and one new to RPG’s in general. It was a lot of fun especially if you’re with a group that role play’s the insanity that is inherent to Golarion Goblins.
It was just as fun when I GMed it for my family on Sunday. I have posted this elsewhere but, I think the best moment out of both games was when my 6 year old son (As Poog of Zarongel)
was grappled by Lord Longtung. He saw that Vorka was casting and made is Spellcraft to identify the spell…
GM ~ “He’s Summoning Something!”
Poog ~ “I throw my Dogslicer!” {Roll-Nat 20} {Roll-Confirm Crit}
Vorka fails his concentration check and loses his spell.
My son remembers he has a ladder on his Robe of Useful Usefulness that he won for going through the Rusty Earbiter in only 3 rounds. In true goblin craziness, he goes through the rest of the encounter swinging his ladder at his enemies.
I hope you have the opportunity to put that PDF to good use.
