Weapon Familiar

Ok I see what you mean it is a very powerful feat how about this then the feat is a continuation of weapon focus your BAB has to be +5 or higher to take it in the first place it give you a +1 bonus to what every weapon you have focus on you maybe it take again on this weapon but only after 5 levels it only works on masterwork and non-magical weapons.

What your thoughts on this?
Is it still to powerful? or
Is it nowbalance?

There is a "Greater Weapon Focus" feat in one of the class books (or is it the Forgotten Realms book?) that grants you additional bonuses above Weapon Focus.

the forsaker class comes to mind. This feat would be a basic essential for any forsaker, because you can only focus on a non-magical weapon, and the forsaker can't use magic.

Perhaps you could do what they did with dwarf, dragon, and giant toughness.

Prereq: weapon focus. then you could take feats like fighters focus, master's focus, etc. I would think these feats would have a BAB prerequisite. When you take these feats they could add an inherent bonus (that does stack with others) to your attack bonus (but not your base, like what you have.).
If you take all of them, maybe all of them could add up to +10, but you have to take weapon focus and the feat chain (one gives access to the next, but this could be optional) to get + 10.

But thats my $.02.

(hopefully my jumbled sentences make sense)

You know what that's not a bad idea.
I may sit down and and think about this one for a bit a chain of feats not just one.
I like your thinking Zack!!
