The reason I am sticking with the +3 weapon is that I have the very *distinct* feeling we will be fighting a couple fo things with DR +3/x and I dont want to be helpless. Plus it protects me more against sundering. Here is his backstory if anyone is interested. Mannie Inglestone (5'1, 165lbs) Orphaned among the freezing mountains in the barbarian north, Mannie was rescued by a group of dwarven scouts looking for new ores, who lived under the very same mountain. He was brought into the homes of the Dwarf clan Inglestone, and given his current name Mannie, to honor his human ancestors in an odd dwarven way. He managed to grow to the proportions of a small but stocky human, or perhaps a overly tall dwarf either through force of will, or the force of the 5' caves he inhabited most of his life. He has tried his whole life to fit in among the dwarves and had mostly succeded, though it in turn suppressed his ties to humanity. After a particularly nasty raid of Giants and Orcs nearly wiped out his Clan, Mannie decided to dedicate his life to the martial arts practiced by dwarves with the Hammer and shield in an attempt to prevent it from happening again. The Clan could no longer hold together after the grave loses, so they split their ways and joined other Clans in the surrounding regions. Rather than have to convince new dwarves that he belonged with them again, he took his possessions and heirlooms from his deceased surrogate family and struck out for revenge. Though he eventually killed all the giants responsible, and as many Orcs as he could find, his taste for revenge was never satisfied. His travels among men has brought his hammer mastery to a new level, as he has combined sheer dwarven power and tennacity, with human skill and mastery. To this day he still seeks out any Giant or Goblinoid to slay no matter the cost to himself or others.
