I don't know about anyone else, but I REALLY like "Weapons of Legacy" for 3.5. Instead of just generic magic items, it gave a real story and unique powers to each of the weapons. I liked it so much that I want to try to do a conversion of some or all of those weapons to 4th edition. I'm still relatively new to gaming as a whole (about 5 years) and pretty inexperienced when it comes to generating big things like this. That being said, anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about this? edit: Started on Bloodcrier's Hammer. Whatcha guys think? Bloodcrier’s Hammer wielder requirements: Level 2 Trained in history Speak Dwarven Bloodcrier’s Hammer Level 2+ Bloodcrier’s Hammer was the signature weapon of the ancient dwarven hero Bhazad Khrar Lvl 2 +1 Lvl 11 +3 Lvl 17 +5 Lvl 5 +2 Lvl 14 +4 Enhancement: Attack rolls and damage rolls Proficiency: +2 Damage: 2d6 Properties: High crit, Versatile (Large) Omen: In any round of combat during which the warhammer is not drawn and used, it cries and moans. When the hammer is brought to bear in battle, reddish fluid seems to seep from the engraved skull’s eye sockets. Powers: Earthseeker (At-will) – Standard Action. At 6th level and higher you can detect any creature with the earth keyword within 60 feet. You must concentrate (a standard action) to do so. The hammer ignores any damage reduction an earth creature possesses Pathbreaker (Daily) – Free Action. At 7th level and higher when Bloodcrier’s Hammer is struck against a lock, lid, door, valve, portal, normal bars, shackles, chains, bolts, and so on, a mournful tone rings forth. The struck item opens 1 round later. Bloodcrier’s Hammer also automatically dispels an arcane lock with a caster level lower than 15. Each strike opens only one form of locking, so if a chest is chained, padlocked, locked, and arcane locked, it takes four strikes to open it. A silence ritual negates this power.
