Message: <blockquote data-quote="Kazzy" data-source="post: 2278202" data-attributes="member: 10945">Wow lots of great advice, thanks.  I'll let you guys know how it works out.  I think having multiple cameras is probably a good idea and or a way for the Web Cammer to control things from his end.  Or well if not I know I'm gonna get stuck with Camera duty hehe, I'm the only one thats computer savy enough.  We have access to Teamspeak and Ventrillo so we can use one of those for voice probably TS since we have more control over that one, but I could probably get admin privilages set up on the Vent server too.  And I have 2 webcams although the picture quality is of the lower varitity.  Maybe eventually if it works well and he wants to stick with it we can all pitch in for a better camera.What kind of software did you use for the webcam Johnnforr?  I know the camera's all come with some software but is one better then the other etc.  I've done a little work with servers, IPs etc before.  Right now all our computers are hooked to a router on DSL.  I'll have to brush up on it but its good to know that I can use my computer for the server.One more question how good of a computer do I need to do this?  I was thinking about setting it up on either the laptop which is kinda old.  Only a pentium 600 and a 16MB video card.  The Ram is 256MB.  Or buying a cheap desktop for it.  I could probably get a desktop for around $500 with a low end gaming Video card and more ram, higher processor speed etc then my current laptop.  It would just be a pain since it wouldn't be a portable then again maybe the wireless mouse and keyboard are the way to go.</blockquote>
