We are currently in the process of organizing our games for <strong>Weekend in the Realms</strong>, a Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) Gameday event.</p><p></p><p>Scheduled for November 7th, we will be setting this up at three distinct locations across the Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC area. As part of this Living Campaign you can bring your own LFR character or create a new one specifically for this adventure. We will also have pregenerated characters for this event. Since this is a Living Campaign, you can use that character, as he advances, in any of the other Living Forgotten Realms adventures. If you are unfamiliar with the <a href="http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lfrx/welcome" target="_blank">Living Forgotten Realms</a>, please take a look at the site for additional information and for character creation guidelines.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Adventure</strong></p><p>The adventure itself is "<strong><em>The Icy Queen’s Crossing</em></strong>", for character levels 1-4 and written by Shawn Merwin. Set in the cold northern realm of Narfell, the 4-hour adventure takes place in the aftermath of the events depicted in the new Forgotten Realms novel <em>The Fall of Highwatch</em>, which releases on November 4. This is the very first time Wizards of the Coast has done and adventure for <strong>Living Forgotten Realms</strong> with a novel tie-in! Here’s the adventure’s description:</p><p></p><p><strong><em>The Icy Queen’s Crossing</em></strong></p><p>I<em>n a region so dangerous that even the most savage of Nar tribes fear trespassing there, a group of heroes has a chance to change the face of a war-torn land. This adventure has locations and characters from the Forgotten Realms novel The Fall of Highwatch. A Weekend in the Realms exclusive adventure set in Narfell for Living Forgotten Realms characters levels 1-4.</em></p><p></p><p><strong><span style="color: Red"><span style="font-size: 15px">Signups will go live on November 1st at 10:00PM.
