This is a sheet I made a while back to fit my play style - thought I would share for anyone interested. Here is a screenshot of one filled out as a sample, using info from my goblin assassin character... Click here to see the full (pdf) version of the sample above. What is this? So basically, I (and many others) tend to look back after a combat and say "Damn, I forgot to use X" or "Damn, I forgot I could have done Y when they hit me". So, I made a sheet that organizes the information into 2 primary areas. Am I defending, or am I attacking. Then, within those areas, I have all the things I can do, but not listed as the name of the power (for example) but rather WHAT IT DOES. So, for example, instead of putting "Agile Recovery", I put "Stand from prone"... or instead of "Slayers Escape", I put "Port 5 and become INVIS". In the heat of combat, the names of powers and abilities often times don't mean anything to me. My eyes glaze over them. This way, I quickly see what can be done and I know right away if I want to do that. I also scribble in colors representing the action (@will, encounter, daily etc). The information is also laid out in steps that help identify things I should be looking at first. Under the picture you will see a section called "Always Ready" - these are for abilities that can be used whenever (for the most part). In the "Defending" section, the DM is going to ask if they hit me with a roll, so those numbers are first. Below that is information needed if he hits... this makes me work down through resists, temp hp's, saves, etc before getting down to my HP so I don't miss anything on the way. Then, next to that are things I can use when I am hit. The same goes with the "Attacking" section below that. Anyway, this sheet has been awesome for me, and for those I play with (and run games for) so I thought I would drop it in here ;) ***UPDATE*** This file has been moved - you can get it here - theweem.com
