Weird Wars....

On one of the message boards I frequent someone said that PEGInc has canceled the Weird Wars line. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm just curious. Thanks.

I don't think so, no (though since I got thrown off the Weird Wars mailing list, I don't know).

They did announce that future Weird Wars settings will not be using the d20 rules. The World War 2 game will continue to, and has 3-4 supplements more due out. But future WW games will use their wacky new rules, whose name I forget (it keeps changing)

Ahhh. Well that sucks that they are switching over to a new system for them.

I think the new system is called the Wild Card system. It's supposed to have a four-page free version available soon (maybe by GenCon?).

And I believe the next few products in the pipeline will have the d20 info., but anything after that (if anything else gets published) will only have the new system.
