The adventure, Shardsfall Quest, is also excellent, and it contains all of the "high note" elements of a great DM scenario; also a very good read.I just finished the third book, the Mech Manual, which gets the job done but isn't anywhere near as engagingly written as the first two. Haven't read The Second Age of Walkers yet, but since it also isn't written by Joseph Goodman (developer, and sole author for the first two books), I'm suspecting it'll be more like the MM.
