I also, though I never penned it to anything submitted in the article, saw the Phaze Trolls as suffering from a low level hallucinogenic state due to the magical or underdark radiation, rather like being short, angry troll hippies (with blood, claws and rending instead of peace, love and flowers). And in my youthful (at the time) gamer mind, "Phaze" seemed to make me see them as imbalanced oddballs of the trollish family tree.And that, as daffy as it is, is the whole story.</blockquote>
