Shame we failed so close to our goal, but it has to happen sometimes?The Truly Horrid Umber Hulk lived up to it's name, for some reason it drew a string of 20's out of the GMs dice... Gave just enough breathing room for my last Teleport. Even more happy that I picked Escape Artist as an extra class skill. Even happier that they took the silence field down to gloat. Not regretting the choice to look like a thief instead of a sorceror... So much to be glad about! Think I should feel a little guilty that it was his death that let me pull the 'Brave Sir Robin' maneuver. Fortunately my character is an Alienist - doesn't do guilt. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />It's the second time this character has been stripped of all his gear. And I'd just cobbled together some interesting bits after the last time it happened. Ah well, easy come easy go. And it wasn't a TPK!Although we have angered a drow city, a powerful lich and now owe the church of Raziel 150,000 GP - due in 1 week. Oh and demons are invading. And we're being stalked by a supercharged Death Knight. Hmmm, wonder if we can engineer it so they all kill each other?
