So I find this out as I'm tied, upside down, and hanging from a tree with my stuff in a pile, which it turns out the demonists had secretly put a magical tracer on and they ported in revealing that one of them is a bane demon Vrock with bard levels and potent, disguise, glibness, and charm spells.The demons taunt me with their deception and anounce their imminent plans to kill me as they have no more use for me after I led them to their enemies. I have like 3 hp above subdual unconsciousness and only my long lasting spells going. I kill one of the bad guys with a fire orb as the fight rages but bad luck results in almost all my new allies dieing but I rolled a twenty on the strength check to bust out of the ropes. Luckily the bad guys didn't know I had energy buffer and a contingency Anavar's Anticipated Attack and I managed to grab my spellbook, component pouch, and familiar and teleport out just as I was covered in a warlock acid gout, the buffer giving me a round to get off the port before I went unconscious.
