Were threads pruned in the upgrade?

In General Discussion, there was a thread where we were compiling a list of email addresses to toss in for "Share the Love" offers from amazon. I went looking for it just now, and I can't find it.

I also can't find any of the STLs I've offered over the last three months (I only checked back three months).

So either messages are being pruned, or the search engine isn't working correctly.

Please tell me the messages aren't being pruned! That thread was important to me, because I want to make sure that I get some benefit from doing STLs...

Threads weren't purged, but as mentioned in the announcement reindexing is going to take several more evenings to accomplish -- it will be done in stages. So searching will not be providing accurate results for a few days.
