Somewhat related, it makes me wonder about the things we haven't discovered yet or that have been completely lost in time. That makes me hope that there were aliens all along taking notes which we can get our hands on when we blow them out of our space.

Considering it seems they are extinct now... Maybe whales aren't delicious and they died out because they couldn't bring themselves to eat.
